Travelers will explore architectural highlights and UNESCO World Heritage sites in Lima, Cusco, Machu Picchu and Puno during this eight-day fam trip to Peru. During the first half of the trip, travel advisors can enjoy leisure time in Lima and Cusco by sampling regional cuisine, with the option of joining guided tours both in Lima and the Sacred Valley in Cusco for an additional charge. Then, travelers will embark on a journey to Machu Picchu — which will consist of a two-hour train ride, a 30-minute bus ride and a 3 ½ mile hike — to explore the Inca Citadel. Other highlights include seeing temples, churches, museums and the Floating Islands of Uros on Lake Titicaca in Puno. The rate includes accommodations, daily breakfast and one lunch, airport transfers, entrance fees, a full-day excursion to Machu Picchu with Inca Rail and a guided boat tour on Lake Titicaca.
