Last month, the United States Tour Operators Association (USTOA)brought 28 tour operator representatives to Turkiye for its Out of Country Board Meeting.
The Turkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency and Turkish Airlines hosted the trip, which showcased the country’s rich history, culture and sustainable tourism efforts.
Throughout the week, attendees explored historic sites such as Mustafapasa Village, Pasabag and the Zelve Open Air Museum. They also took an early morning hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia’s valleys and visited Kaymakli Underground City. The trip aimed to strengthen ties between U.S. tour operators and Turkish tourism companies, while reinforcing USTOA’s commitment to responsible travel.
