Five-star resorts are plentiful in Los Cabos, but these days, more clients are interested in private villas. Villas offer the same level of luxury with the benefit of privacy — a combination that's hard to beat, particularly following the pandemic.
"People were actively seeking experiences where they could safely be with their loved ones, and villas offered both space and privacy for extended families and groups,” said Julie Byrd, president of Cabo Villas, which offers a collection of 150 luxury villas throughout the destination. “Coupled with a wide array of amenities and the ability to curate and customize their stay, guests quickly saw the unique benefits of this style of travel.”
As interest in private villa rentals has increased, so has inventory. Here are five Los Cabos villas that are great options for clients planning adult-only getaways, multigenerational or multi-family vacations and destination celebrations. Located in Cabo San Lucas’ Pedregal neighborhood, this 10-bedroom, 11-bath villa perched on a cliff overlooking the ocean can accommodate 20 adults and eight children. In addition to 15,000 square feet of indoor space — including a private theater — outdoor amenities include a putting green, a shuffleboard court, a fenced-in play structure, an infinity-edge lap pool with a swim-up bar and a rooftop palapa deck perfect for yoga.
“The primary bedroom will impress any guest,” Byrd said. “The outside shower is on the cliffs so high above the Pacific Ocean, that you still have privacy while showering outside — though the iguanas that live in those rocks may be very interested in your shower.”
The villa is located a quarter mile from the beach and a half mile from downtown Cabo San Lucas. Advisors should note Villa Turquesa has three levels with no wheelchair access.
Casa Stella
Constructed in spring 2019, Casa Stella enjoys a coveted spot on the highest street in Pedregal, providing panoramic ocean views perfect for whale-watching and a private vacation experience that’s just a five-minute drive from Cabo San Lucas.

The 10-bedroom, 14-bath villa can accommodate up to 20 guests and has been designed to maximize its ocean views. Outdoor amenities include an infinity-edge pool with a hot tub, a media system and a fire pit. Inside, clients will love the home theater, the ocean-view gym and the spa with a dry sauna and two private treatment rooms.
“When your clients stay here, they never want to leave the house,” Byrd said. “The staff also likes to surprise and delight guests with fun things like branded coconuts and pinatas for birthday celebrations. It’s all in the details.”
Casa Stella has three levels, with two suites on the main level.
Villa Delfines
Located within the Villa del Mar development in Los Cabos, the beachfront seven-bedroom, eight-bath Villa Delfines accommodates 18 guests and offers amenities such as a pool with a swim-up bar, a fire pit and an outdoor kitchen.

Mantea Casa Cabo
The eight-bedroom, 12-bath Mantea Casa Cabo can accommodate up to 16 guests and offers state-of-the-art features such as a home theater with a 72-inch flat-screen television, a sauna with ocean views, a commercial-quality gym and an in-house spa.

Clients booking this villa can access the restaurants and spa at Zadun, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve. Another benefit of the five-bedroom, seven-bath villa is that it’s on a single level.
Kind Traveler Initiative
As part of the Los Cabos Tourism Board’s newly launched community impact program in partnership with Kind Traveler, Cabo Villas has partnered with Corazon Flora, an organization that supports animal rescue and welfare efforts in Los Cabos.
When clients stay at any Cabo Villas property, a donation of $1 per night will automatically be made to Corazon Flora to help them rescue, rehabilitate and provide adoption opportunities to stray animals as well as raise awareness for responsible pet ownership.
Clients can make additional donations through Cabo Villas if they’d like.
